I love seeing the dems twist themselves into knots trying to claim the House impeachment was a fair process.

No. The burden is on the Senate to have a fair and serious trial with evidence and witnesses. The House proved there was and is smoke. It's up to the Senate to find and put out the fire.

The GOP refusing to admit the EVIDENCE is a complete joke.

Democrats want another 2 month media circus, like the silly little show put on in the House. They know there is no evidence that Trump broke any laws, and they know how this will end. They want their air-time to influence a presidential election-essentially more free advertising. The Senate wants to run this professionally, with appropriate seriousness, and as a trial, not a media show. For that-the Dems are throwing a temper tantrum.

they were picked by the democrats.. they had the complete power of who would be chosen.

It is not the Senate's job to expand the impeachment...It is their job to review what the House have sent forward. Nothing else.
Whatever it is and whatever the ruling, there is no provision for an appeal.

So what does that make it?

Criminals on death row can appeal up to the SCOTUS.

That leaves Sondland with direct testimony and he already testified Trump said "no quid pro quo" Who's left? The Senate is not going to start any investigations, that's absurd, this is a trial, the investigations are over, the Senate has the charges and testimony, they'll determine a verdict on what they have in front of them.

Want Bolton, Mulvaney and crew to testify, the House can start new investigations, issue subpeonas, and work through the court system to compel them to testify, it ain't gonna happen now.

Wake up! Many of you make no sense at all. Abuse of Power and Obstruction of Congress are the charges. Good luck!
Sorry to disappoint. In a Grand Jury, hearsay evidence is admissible. Judge Judy, a bastion of Constitutional law.

2. Testimony by new witnesses may never be heard.
3. Documents may never be presented.

This 48 hour trial will go down in history as more evidence of the erosion of our Republic.

Same as Clinton got.

The cart before the horse theory, does not work if you have no power to make it happen in the Senate, like you did in the House.

The people picked by Devin Nunes in Devin Nunes' own letter were "picked by Democrats"? LMAO.

You're going to have to try a little harder than that.
