Quote:
President Trump on Tuesday announced the United States will join the One Trillion Trees Initiative launched at the World Economic Forum as world leaders seek to combat climate change.

Trump made the announcement during an address to global business leaders gathered for the annual event in Davos, Switzerland.

"We're committed to conserving he majesty of God’s creation and the natural beauty of our world," Trump said, adding that the U.S. "will continue to show strong leadership in restoring, growing and better managing our trees and our forests.

I thought the only answer for climate change was moving business to China and India (Paris Agreements) and giving money to Democrats via taxes.

Good move. This is something that can be done that actually can have a positive effect. Simply giving lock-down control to the socialist left over every aspect of our lives will only make this world a living hell. This move will be much more beneficial to our environment than the sorts of gargantuan financial redistribution schemes that routinely characterize the socialist left's "environmental" agenda.

I've never been a fan of trees, but I don't mind this initiative.

More Trees equals more Oxygen. More Oxygen is necessary for Forest Fires which are dangerous for the Environment. Trump wants to destroy the Environment, its now without question how Evil he is.

Per OP: "Trump announces the US will join the 1 trillion tree initiative."

How odd. I didn't read anywhere in that quote where Trump said, "The United States will join the 1 trillion tree initiative." Care to point it out? Or is this yet another time a Trump supporter gave credit where credit isn't due?
