Fair point. But Trump has always held rallies. It's his style. I'm not saying it's not strategy, but I don't remember any president before him doing them.

However my real point of it was the sheer demand to get into this as an impeachment (that's a sham) is getting nasty.

Back when impeachment was actually bi-partisan in 1998, Clinton wasn't very popular.

If he wanted to you think Clinton could have had a demand for 150k tickets for a venue that held 5k in Republican country back then? Doubt it.
