That means don't value it above all else, but value it equally to other things.

No, neo nazis were created as a mickey mouse group by the German secret police maybe in the 70's, to trap and monitor people they thought was a threat to their world order. What they ended up with a few morons who did not understand the world and harbored contradicting ideas joined the said neo nazi groups. The real nazis were not nationalists at all, they wanted to build a multi ethnic (diverse globalist) empire, called the third reich, that is why they started WW2, and later the EU. Loving your kin is not the same as enslaving other nations. Typical leftist talking point, trying to project past sins on your victims. In 1938 all leftists were admiring Hitler, in 1946 all leftists claimed Hitler was associated with conservatives (the natural enemy of leftists).
The homosexial and transgender issue is not whether individuals chose to live that way, rather that the masses of normal people are forced to celebrate them through media and schools, and tolerate their own children being turned int it by school or state authority.
Leftists do have outgroup preference: they want open borders, they want to spend government money on illegals but not on Americans (free healthcare for illegals), they want all their neighbors to be from other countries (and not from their own country). Diversity (a leftist goal) means you don't have to be surrounded by people with the same background as you, only by people who have different background than you, that is outgroup preference.
The nuclear family is part of the natural order, and the only one that creates a peaceful free and prosperous society.
Cool story bro.

Nationalism is fine. National socialism is bad.

The narrative about nationalism being a right-wing idea is bull****. Right-winters are money grubbing capitalists and pro-individualists and typically despise nationalism in favor of globalism and free trade. Socialism and nationalism (and before anybody says it, no national-socialism isn't socialism or at least not in the traditional sense) are actually just 2 different competing strands of leftist ideology. The narrative about "right-wing nationalists" is horse**** because there isn't any such thing.

Rightist: Individual goes first
Leftist: Collective goes first.

Nationalism is a form of collectivism centered around a common group identity, thus it is a leftist idea rather than a right-wing one.

Well that was a swing and a miss! Nice try tho.

No, the OP doesn't get it. In fact, he's totally clueless.

Yes, that's true.

When nationalism seeks to empower, liberate or protect, it is positive.

Where it seeks to corrupt, oppress or destroy, it is negative.

No, it is not. Nationalism existed long before global finance or even finance existed.

If you want to see an example of nationalism, there's the Night of Sicilian Vespers.

That was in the year 1282.

I can go back farther if you want.

I can go back to 5,000 BCE.

Wrong answer.

Which part of "nationalism" do you not understand?

The operand is "nation." You know, like "nation-State" or simply "nation," that is, an ethnic group.

We just recently saw an example of nationalism is Spain.

The Colonies were English, Dutch, French, German, Norwegian, Swedish, Irish and a few others. They spoke English, Dutch, French, German, Norwegian, Swedish, Gaelic, and other languages. They were Catholics and many, many sects of Protestantism. They had different heroes, different holidays, different music etc etc.

That is everything a nation is not.

As a point of fact, Germans are the largest ethnic group in the US.
