Okay, this might be WAY off-base here -- and it probably is! -- but I can't help but think that Tulsi is setting herself up to turn Republican or Independent in a couple of years, and this will increase her appeal to those of us who are tired of politics as usual.
She is also showing herself to be fearless against enemies -- AND she is getting some more publicity for herself.
