Because we can afford huge tax cuts for the rich but fixing our sewers is just too expensive.

"The actions are the latest example of the Trump administration’s efforts to roll back nearly 95 environmental rules that it has said are too costly for industry or taxpayers. That list grew Thursday when the administration stripped clean-water protections from wetlands, streams and other waterways."

If we lose our clean and potable water sources, our country/land is worthless.

What a load of crap your title is. Your own link says they've been dumping for years because they can't afford to do the upgrades the EPA has required during past administrations. Perhaps looking at what can be done instead of making rules no one can complete would be a better option? At least then "something" would be better than nothing and still dumping.

The jackasses have been dumping raw sewage into the lives of the US citizens for decades now. And really working at it overtime as of late.......

Why no concern about that?

methinks the OP gets a lot of their news from wildly left-wing sites.

we were just talking about WOTUS the other day - a lot of it is bunk that any non-wacko would support.

Apparently - though not clearly stated by the MSM site I read the news on - there's some going back BEYOND Obama's WOTUS, but since they were hyperventilating, it seems they were never actually able to speak about it. Maybe that's what redwood's first post was aluding to.

The government can't afford upgrades to critical infrastructure, but it can cut $1.5 trillion in taxes? It's okay to dump raw sewage into our waterways, but we have to reduce corporate taxes from 35% to 21%? That is partisan - it's GOP politics, and its bad for people.

Big fail on that OP.

Removing those regulations WILL ALLOW the pollution to stop.
