I believe he paid off Paula Jones to the tune of $800,000 to drop her lawsuit against him. I would have rather seen Clinton go to trial and yes....see justice for what he did.
(That IS who you're talking about, isn't it?)
I was not talking about paula jones. I know its hard to keep all the victims of william clinton straight.
Maybe all presidents should have people - political advisors, lawyers, congressmen - who can be that blunt in scolding them. I don't think Trump has anyone like that in his life, and maybe never has, outside maybe his father.
But that's reportedly what Senator Patrick Leahy said to Bill Clinton at the time to Clinton's impeachment. And it was senators who told Nixon to resign.
Do you think anyone would say that to Trump?
The senator was livid. The president of his own party had gotten himself in so much trouble that he was now facing impeachment. And so when the phone rang one night after dinner and the senator picked up to find the White House on the line, he cursed the commander in chief.
“You’re a fool!” the senator told the president. “You’re a damn, damn, damn fool!”
The senator’s wife was aghast. “That’s the president!” she whispered in horror.
That was 21 years ago. The president was Bill Clinton, and the senator was Patrick J. Leahy of Vermont, who like other Democrats was furious at the position the leader of his party had put them in. https://twnews.us/us-news/the-trial-...-be-a-template
Patrick Leahy...… how old is this guy? Been in office since 1974.
GET HIM OUT !!!!!!

While Donald Trump has a lot of character flaws, the one that has hurt his Presidency the most is his inability and unwillingness to listen to anyone else......about anything. He feels he is smarter than anyone else, and that is absolutely his major failing.
No human can know it all, and the most successful people realize it and rely on input from others. They may ultimately reject those exterior suggestions, but they at least LISTEN and digest that information. Trump has some blocker in his brain that feels any outside information is too complex to consider.
If anyone in his administration were brave enough to tell him he was doing something wrong, he would turn on them and utter those famous words he used on TV. You're fired ! And that is why we are in this mess we have today.

He was smart enough to beat the 'smartest woman in the world" in 2016. He was smart enough to campaign hard in the swing states rather than wasting time in California.
In any case, George Soros or whoever is now free to bribe foreign governments to announce bogus investigations against Republican candidates. Who`s going to stop him?
Oh right....Juanita Broaddrick. Now HERS was a rape. Paula Jones got off "lucky" with just a sexual assault. But somehow, Democrats were OK with all that and more upset by a consensual adulterous affair by Trump.
Trump has affair: Someone with morals like that shouldn't be president!
Clinton rapes and sexually assaults women: Oh well, nobody's perfect.

He`s smart enough to know who invented the wheel too. The electoral college beat the one you believe is the "smartest woman in the world". No one else called her that but you`re free to have your own opinion.
