I guess if I were a Dim, I would pursue the same. I think it won't make it, If it does, I would LMAO if the first time it's implemented it forces a Republican to win over a Dim with more EC's
No other democracy has the equivalent of the electoral college. Nations like Canada, Australia, Switzerland, and Norway - to name but a few - seem to be doing just fine under "mob rule." Republicans are much less interested in "democracy" than they are in holding on to power by any means possible. It's long past the time to scrap an institution which was created to assuage the fears of a few wealthy slave owners in the South.

We all know if Trump had won the popular vote and could do so again that the Dems would be rallying behind the electoral college to block him.
The Dems are really vicious people that will manipulate the system to give themselves a better chance at winning. All they care about is winning. We only need to look at the fit they threw and successfully blocked the question about citizenship on the 2020 census.
All the Dems care about is power and they will do anything to get it.

Personally I'd like to see my home state (Florida) go to an electoral college system for state wide elections. Local elections would remain by popular vote.
