The fact is, Bolton confirms everything that has been said about Trump. Yet still the Republicans shield him from accountability.

And for good reason: Trump could squash any or all of them like a bug by unleashing a barrage of tweets that would leave the Republican senators quaking and wetting themselves. They have every right to be terrified. Our president is awesome!

And the NY Times commonly uses questionable sources...like a bitter old guy who was just fired from his last gig in the limelight. Bolton left on bad terms, so now he wants revenge. That personal and professional vendetta harms his credibility. He has a motive to lie, which is retribution. Plus, publishers pay big bucks to politicians and ex-politicians to write thier side of the story, no matter how tainted it might be. That publisher cash also adds motivation to sensationalize, and obscure the facts.

Too bad Bolton’s greed was so great he wouldn’t testify or give a taped interview. No, you’ve got to wait for the book. Great American.

Why should any politician want to be honest and forthright after this example has been shown to work (for three years, at least). A hard blow has been delivered to our way of life and our principles.

Does a politician exist, who has the strength and fortitude to sweep all this aside and start us on the road to recovery? Who might that be, does anyone know? There have been many republicans who have been admitting lately, that they have no one on their side except Trump, who would have a chance of winning. I doubt that many of them, deep down, have any expectation of him doing it again. It remains to be seen, how lasting will be the damage the stooges who hoisted him up, will have caused.
I agree. We are in unfamiliar territory where alternative facts are the norm and it sets the bar lower for the next guy.

Again -- Trump may be impeached but when this book comes out.....oh my.

And there are all kinds of other timing issues.

Whtie House lawyers have had this manuscript for a few weeks. They KNEW/KNOW what is in it and have lied to the American public about having no evidence to support that Trump froze the funds to get an investigation.

The manuscript suggests that Bolton TOLD Barr about the call and that Barr was mentioned -- which contradicts Barr's claim he never knew about the call until the whistle blower.

It all supports the accusations.

It doesn't matter if he did.

Biden is not immune to investigation just because he's running for president.

Eventually, the advisers that Trump treated badly and then booted, may come back to bite a big chunk out of his behind. They'll be like a flock of scruffy chickens that come home to roost.
