He basically said, I'm not coordinating the robbery with you but if you give me some money from the robbery, I won't say or do anything (Russia). He also said, if you give me some dirt on my opponent, I will give you someone else's cash that asked me to deliver it on their behalf (Ukraine). If you don't give me the dirt, I'm not giving you their cash and I will try to hide the fact that I'm holding their cash from you. A attempted crime is still a crime even if it's not successful.
We the people elect the President and no one gets to crown a King. We fought a Revolutionary War of garbage like this and don't you forget it.

All I'm seeing is low information emotional rhetoric here.

Here's what my gut tells me.

Trump was elected because the Russian's helped him. Read the Mueller report and pay close attention to the section describing what Russia did and how they did it. Pay even closer attention to the part that talks about how Manafort shared internal polling numbers with the Russian's to target disinformation, lies, and conspiracy theories. Read about how Trump, his kids, Kelly Ann and Hannity spread those conspiracy theories on Twitter and Facebook.

When you're done with that, google how many from the electoral college defected votes away from Clinton to Trump. There were 2 that defected from Trump to Clinton. Did you know that there is no constitutional law or federal law that states that the electors have to vote with the popular vote in their state? If the electoral college can vote for whomever they want aren't they the ones who really vote for our president? This election cycle saw the biggest defection 100 years. Why? Can the vote be bought or compromised?

Trump's own party in the senate came out with a statement that the Russian's interfered in our election to benefit Trump. "Russia if you're listening...." Dirt on Hillary? "I love it." Do you think Russia interfered out of the kindness of their heart or do you think they expect something in return?

Bolton "I'm not part of the drug deal." Sondland "there was a quid pro quo and everyone was in on it." Trump "we need a favor though." Cohen "Trump talks in code." Yeah most mob bosses do.

So does Congress ignore the many red flags and go against what we the people voted them in for, or do the impeach a president before he tries to lie cheat and steal another election? Slightly more than half the country wants him gone. Is that supposed to be ignored because of a small base that likes him?

Read people, read.

I don't think Russia helped Trump win the election. I think that is what the narrative is that is spit out, so that the general public buys it hook, line and sinker.

Trump was not supposed to win. But he was elected because Hillary was not the best, relatable candidate to average Joe--plus she had a ton of corrupt and questionable baggage. Trump is not a politician, and he is disrupting the swamp and disrupting the inner circles of how DC and the government is ran.

They hate him for that--they despise him for exposing a ton of them. He is disrupting everything they've built during the Obama years. And they want him out of office, yesterday.

It appears from your posting above, that these are super similar to MSNBC and/or CNN talking points. There's no real new info there that you can't catch on mainstream liberal media, wanting everyone to swallow their narrative that Russia had Trump elected and the orange man are bad.

The real issues:

1) Dems have absolutely horrible candidates that have no reasonable chance of winning a fair election against Trump. Even after generations of a horrible educational industry, even our citizens won't vote for a candidate as bad as the socialist loon, the faux Indian or the two senile plutocrats.

2) Dems are terrified of Biden's corruption within Ukraine being exposed even more, and destroying what little is left of Obama's pathetic legacy. One more nail in the coffin of perhaps the most corrupt and incompetent administration in history.

It is mind boggling that the Democrats have such detached, mostly socialist-leaning and unrelatable candidates. A sharp, common sense, moderate Democrat could beat Trump. None to be found with this batch though.

Biden's corruption is bad and runs very, very deep. You are totally right--with his incoherent ramblings and his potential to go full-on senile at times, add in the corruption and Biden is a terrible candidate overall. Name recognition and Obama coattails are not necessarily a winning combo. LOL

Well the Dems are willing to cast aside 63 million people that voted for Trump and with one of their mouth pieces (lemon) talking about how stupid we all are what are we to expect from them? It is certainly not respect.

I guess we might as well hand them the election now because they are telling us that we are too stupid to realize how brilliant they are as they try to stack the deck in their favor by playing dirty.

I believe the Dems are more prone to playing dirty and cheating than Trump is just so they can win. We need to keep a close eye on them.

The big question is what are they going to pull if Trump should win in November?

They will claim it is illegitimate, that Trump fixed the results, and that it was Russia, or the Ukraine, or heck at this point, time for a new country, Zimbabwe, maybe? LOL

But I think this spring and summer, and into the fall, the Democrats will launch another investigation into Trump, alleging he is fixing the election in his favor, or working with overseas groups or something to do so. Watch--they are so desperate for power, this will be their "hail mary" before the election.

Then, when he most likely wins, there will be more "illegitimate and 'he cheated'" claims. The Democrats won't stop until they think they can grab that power back again.

They need more balance in California. It's definitely gone way too far left.

You need to read Dr. Fiona Hill’s take on the Russian interference, because she may be the only one who has looked at this from a non-partisan viewpoint. As she stated in her testimony in the impeachment testimony, Russia interfered with our election but their goal was not to hurt or help Hillary, they did things that accomplished both. Nor was their goal to help or hurt Trump, they did things that accomplished both. They did not care who won or lost. Their goal was to sow distrust in American citizens of the American electoral system and to create a situation where Americans would legitimacy of whoever ended up being president. As seen by this thread they were not only successful in the 2016 election but they keep reaping the rewards to this day. Mr. Schiff might as well put on his KGB auxiliary badge, because even though I doubt it was his intent, he may be the most effective asset they’ve ever had.
