New evidence presented during any sitting President's impeachment trial - Admissable or dismissed? (poll, Presidents)

If new evidence is introduced during a sitting Presidents impeachment trial, regardless of the current President or their political affiliation, should that evidence be admissible (right to be admitted) or dismissed (ignored)?
