Only for you is it "historic"....I remember seeing the Outlaws in that venue years ago and it was beyond full. Then again, I attended a Rock Festival near that and over 100,000 hippies were there (can you name it?).....

"History" seems to be in your head. History will not record a clown rally while at the same time an earthquake is happening in the South and in the Senate. The Hannity Show tonight will also not make "history".

Remember, we are probably up to over 50% by now of "your friends" in the Republican party wanting the witnesses, so claims the "the dems" want this or that are moot. The Repubs and Independents want it.

If this is true (that some Senators won't cover-up witnesses) - and I am always suspect - the next questions are the most important......

1. Will the President Testify?
2. Will the Senate request, by majority, the cover-up documents
and so on and so on.

I suspect we will get "witnesses lite" - so those few GOP Senators can make the claim that it was fair.

If they are the same witnesses the Dems called I would say that Trump can relax. None of those witnesses were particularly compelling .

I don't believe it. I do not trust the WSJ.

NJ turning red will be historic. The impeachment sham is driving 10s of 1000s of remaining Democrats over to Trump.

And when they put Biden on the stand, it will be over for him.

Will only hurt the Democrats, honestly.

Wouldn't it be something if Adam Schiff was called to appear? LOL

What an embarrassing sh*tshow that would be. He would be red-faced, squirming and would definitely be caught lying to cover his lying.

I'd pay to see that.
The GOP has the votes to call anyone all by themselves.

If they want to be able to claim to be the party of laws. They need to come up with witnesses who are pertinent to the case.

I still say Dems are bluffing. Having witnesses is worse for them than the GOp.

Democrats are obviously very very easily influenced. And BTW, they don't have to let Bolton in just because they brought Biden in.
So you are saying you think the GOP is going to vote in a block to call in just the witnesses they want that perhaps have zero to do with the charges against the POTUS?

Hard to imagine...but we'll both watch.

I figured it would be the Dem votes plus a few GOP votes to bring in relevant and important witnesses. Maybe Guliani, Bolton, Mulvaney, etc. ??

Indeed. The last thing they want is Schiff, Biden & Hunter and the whistle blower put onto that stand.

That's why I asked the OP why this is bad for the Republicans. Getting silence on it.

Isn't that just what Lindsay Graham said? And he should know.

What's to bluff. The GOP has the votes to end it without witnesses. The problem is if they just close it out 75% of the nation will remember. They will be reminded of it for the next 10 month's.
