"Grass roots movement", lol.

You forgot the part about them also being Islamists creating a Koran based caliphate, and willing to murder, pillage and rape their way into their caliphate.

The 80's called and want their stinger missiles back. That was a long time ago. And yes, we should not have been pulled into yet another proxy struggle.

Reality of what's being dropped in the middle east.

Strikes (from your own link)

2015 - 29,693

2016 - 32,080

2017 - 43,938 (majority in first 6months)

2018 - 16,075

2019 - 12,152

THAT'S A DECREASE OF 72% FROM OBAMA Era BOMBINGS.

Wrong again Craigirl. Here's a tips. The guardian is a thoroughly discredited and dishonest rag.

epic fail

" The increasing intensity of the air campaign has been accompanied by an increase in civilian casualties attributed to US forces"

Can anyone here tell me why were are there and why we are doing this?

Looks like the Peace President continues to pull defeat from the Jaws of Victory:

He has dropped more on Afghanistan than any other President. But the problem here is you didn't speak out about it when Obama was in office. It's a hypocritical post and is the reason why your posts lack credibility. It's dishonest to act like you care now.

Bring the troops home and protect our borders like the Constitution says.

The hypocritical op is correct about Afghanistan but as you pointed out misses the big picture

2. Trump is very easily persuadable.

Anyone who imagined Trump would be a "peace" guy is delusional. Just looks at the way he endlessly attacks people verbally and litigiously.
How Trump addresses people has nothing to do with his foreign policy. Your post sounds like something you'd hear on an elementary play ground.

Peace President? Did he win the Nobel peace prize? Oh yeah that was the guy Trump inherited this mess from.
Why are you so selective about who you condemn?

How many new fronts has the orange one opened up? No that was the guy before him.

In one thread the left cries when he wants to withdraw troops. In the next they cry that he killed a terrorist. Now they cry that he is dropping bombs.

The article references this page.

United States Air Forces Central Command Combined Air Operations Center

The Guardian article is like the magician that focuses your attention on one thing, and you don't even look at anything else.

The Guardian article focuses on Afghanistan.

Go to the link above and scroll down to Iraq and Syria and look at the same numbers in the far right column.

The article whines about 7,423 air munitions in Afghanistan.

Iraq and Syria
  • 2015 - 28,696
  • 2016 - 30,732
  • 2017 - 39,577
  • 2018 - 8,713
  • 2019 - 4,729

They didn't use these numbers because it wouldn't make Trump look evil, and Obama look like Trump.

craigiri - quick - what's the percentage increase of Obama bombs dropped in 2015 between the 28,696 in Iraq/Syria versus the 947 in Afghanistan? Probably greater than 800%...

For some reason OP is avoiding your post.
