I would go if the opportunity arose but its not a big thing in my area.
I would definitely go see a drag show before I would go to a strip club (more of a thing in my area) which seems IMO more offensive, stereotypical and insulting to women.
I find drag more insulting as it is a purposeful collection of stereotypes put together in an act to make fun of women.
I find strippers just sad and having no self respect. They aren't making fun of women because they are women. They aren't pretending to be something they aren't for cash.
Any time a company embraces homosexuality or transgender”ism” they lose money. But that is their right to do so. Sounds like some millennials were promoted ahead of their time. It really isn’t anything new— RuPaul has been around forever and even the 80s were full of androgynous stuff. But it Seems like a strange thing to thrust upon viewers, many of whom worship sweaty black guys. That doesn’t really jibe.
Anybody who is younger than 50 generally isn't offended by LGBT people.

Yes comedy is more insulting than representing women as sex objects who get naked in front of people, hump poles, stick their bare breast in peoples faces while having dollar bills stuck in their crotch.
Aren't drag queens pretending to be something they aren't for cash?
Drag depicts the WORST stereotypical "g3nder" characteristics of women. Just like blackface does. For laughs.
They do not portray women as "glamorous, powerful beings" If that was an accurate assessment, every women would be *acting* like a drag queen. They don't. Far from it. Because it's INSULTING and OFFENSIVE. And every women knows that.
Not sure why you are insisting that as it is not true. Live in delusion I guess ... likely another case of if it's LGBTAKJBFK it's ALWAYS good, right?

If it's LGBT then standards don't apply, right? They can be as offensive as they want and it's acceptable, right?
Drag queens build their acts on the most horrible gender stereotypes of women that exist. They are offensive and insulting to women.
It’s obvious you aren’t exposed to lots of drag. Many go for glamour and portray powerful women. Drag in its highest expression is an art form. Just like there’s a difference between nude art and pornography so is there a difference between street drag for a good time vs a professional drag performance.
In Shakespeare's day, female parts were played by male actors, while more recently, actresses have taken on some of his most famous male roles such as Hamlet and Julius Caesar. Women don't seem to find them offensive, that's why they are large sections of the audience. Why are you being a snowflake on behalf of other people who don't feel offended by this?
I really have never heard a woman say that. In fact, the only time I saw a drag show, it was a woman who took me. Granted, drag wasn’t exactly a topic I discussed with a lot of the women I dated, but I certainly feel like they would have been a lot more offended by other things.
