Democrat candidates should not vote on impeachment? (accuse, Sanders, bias)

Riddle me this.

Trump is being accused and impeached in supposedly trying to get the dirt on a so called political opponent even though when the call to the Ukraine was made he had no idea that Biden would be the nominee yet Trumps political opponents in Warren, Sanders, Klobuchar and Bennet are being allowed to vote to destroy any chance their political opponent has against them?
Shouldn't they recluse themselves from voting on Trumps impeachment?

I've already made this point and brought up the hypocrisy of leftists on this point a while ago. You can't claim that McConnell shouldn't participate in the impeachment trial based on his statements about partiality and not also make the same demand of the Dem senators seeking their party's nomination for POTUS. They are taking a vote directly against their political opponent that they hope to go head to head against in November. But if it wasn't for double standards the left would have no standards.

It is so basic. If this was a company it would be like if a worker that was poised for a promotion had to get positive reviews for that promotion from people that are vying for the same job.



We are certainly seeing a double standard here with this impeachment process.

And another thing Granny Warren and others are demanding a fair trial a fair process in the Senate yet they have already come out saying they will impeach Trump.



If you are called to sit on a jury you might be asked questions as the panel is being built and if you stand up and shout that the guy is guilty because he looks guilty then guess what they are not going to pick you because you have a bias. It is the same in the House and the same in the Senate.



Facts who needs facts?

We are talking about a phone call where the words can be counted on a piece of paper but all this reading between the lines and making up the meaning of them and claiming that feelings were hurt by them? Sorry I think there should be more than that to unseat Trump.
Of course words matter but in many cases my interpretation will be different than yours and where I hear nothing the Left hears a Constitutional crisis.

They talk of motive and out of fear that he is going to do it again.

The Left is really reaching here and the further they reach the harder they are going to fall and you are right if it wasn't for double standards the Left would have no standards.
