And they will.

The ONLY good thing Trump has done is expose the depths of the corruption of the republican party. It goes SO MUCH deeper than I ever imagined.

Luckily, the majority of americans have seen what I see.
If the “majority of Americans” had a problem with how this was handled, there would be massive protests and rioting.

Hasn’t happened.

You are incorrect.

This was not even close. It was doomed to fail at the very start. They wasted 3yrs of time and money and got nothing accomplished. What they may have accomplished is getting Trump re-elected for another 4 yrs.

There was nothing close about the totally partisan and corrupt house impeachment. This embarrassing, one-sided effort trashed the intent of our founding fathers and its stench will hang over the U.S. Congress for years. There is nothing "close" or with even a hint of integrity - to cheer about here! All Americans lost!

It was the ‘Pubs who were one-sided! Uh, they wouldn’t call any witnesses, even John Bolton, who volunteered to testify! The Senate Republicans were so partisan that it was laughable. How do you have a trial with no witnesses?? Guess they didn’t have a witness would could exonerate Trump. LOL.

You ‘Pubs are going to pay for this sham of a trial in November!! The American people want the truth.

I hear Trump was depressed at his FL place last night. Guess big guy was sulking...

Maybe the Republicans would protest and riot if they didn’t get their way. The majority of people in the US thought trump was guilty but shouldn’t be removed. No need to protest or act badly unless the tacky MAGA hat types were upset.

unfortunately, your quoted material does not appear to be from an attorney, nor does it include any case citations.

as best I can tell - and hey, correct me if I'm wrong - the guilty or innocent (convicted or acquitted) decision falls on the 100 Senators. Some clearly had their mind made up before it got to the Senate - from both sides. But at the end of the day, however they vote on "did he do enough to warrant removal from office" is the question.

The Dems have without a shadow of a doubt - at least 40% of them - been trying to find a way to impeach him since well before Mueller's investigation was complete.

Undoubtedly, to the partisan left, the House managers had enough to prove his guilt and removal. Almost undoubtedly, the full Senate isn't going to vote that way.

Sounds like something that would happen in Russia, not the U.S.

But here we are.
there were 18 witnesses in the House, though it seems they only acknowledge 17.

Yes, there's been mention of that on this forum (perhaps by you)? Apparently, the 18th witness gave testimony that did not support the Schiff Sham Show, and thus he has suppressed it.
