LGBT is a wedge issue that distracts people from economic injustice.

Top the OP why are you outraged about this?
Gay people have heterosexuality thrown in their face 24/7 yet you don't seem to have a issue with that.

I'm not outraged about it. You're assigning an emotion to me for obvious reasons.

Why would I have an issue with the situation you mention in your second sentence? I thought it would be clear by this point that I do not regard those two things as being on the same plane, whatsoever.

In anticipation of the next question, no, I don't see much evidence that homosexuals are "born that way." For over twenty years, some have tried desperately to identify the "gay gene." The white flag has essentially been raised on that and I think more are starting to accept that there isn't one. The retreat has now been to the position that, "Well, some other genes might influence it." In contrast, there are good reasons to believe it is mostly environmental. I mention this also in anticipation of the obligatory liberal woman who will jump in and scream, "So, you think gay people choose to be gay?!?!" I hope we understand the difference between environmental factors and Devin sitting down one day and saying to himself, "You know what? I'm going to be gay!"
