Is this because Bernie knows where the cure is being stashed?

Coronavirus: China has quarantined 50 million people. Experts worry that might backfire
Combination of the news cycle, and its predictable trans-species perceived origin in the exotic heart of storied wet market China.

Bernie is like all the actors like Trump.
Prove me wrong.

I would trust my dog better than any media politician put in front of us.
My dog would kill all big business lobbyists and special interests.

Too much corruption, let it all collapse!
There is a lot I would agree could collapse... and in the long run we would be better for it. But not drugs or food.

Someone mentioned up thread that food is mostly grown here. But what about the 3 layers of packaging that everything comes in? Where are the packaging products made? Food distributors wouldn't know how to ship the food without the packaging.

Actually I don't think the virus will cause much disruption. It's not the black plague, and most of us know to wash our hands frequently and not touch the face.

The market should have collapsed in 2008 and sent the rich TO the poor house. Instead we bailed out the bankers and told the underpaid workers from globalism and poor that suffered from globalism, that YOU ARE OWN YOUR OWN, pull up your BOOTSTRAPS and get to it!

Like the great depression, things would have been reset.
Instead, what we have is the rich growing richer and the poor and homeless sky rocketing.

With a deadly virus, the ****ing rich will die like the rest and cannot buy off a politician to save their ass and will end up 6 feet under like everyone else.

Default Epoch Times

Do you know what is "bad news"? Posting something from the "Epoch Times" and not letting on that it's a biased pro-Trump publication that also promotes conspiracy theories.

The Epoch Times is a multi-language newspaper[2] founded in 2000 by John Tang and a group of Chinese Americans associated with the Falun Gong spiritual movement.[3] Though the newspaper is known for general interest topics with a focus on news about China and its human rights issues, it has become known for its support of U.S. President Donald Trump and favorable coverage of far-right politicians in Europe; a 2019 report showed it to be the second-largest funder of pro-Trump Facebook advertising after the Trump campaign.[4][5][6][7][8][9][10][11] The newspaper is part of the Epoch Media Group, which also operates New Tang Dynasty Television (NTD).[7] The group's news sites and YouTube channels have spread conspiracy theories such as QAnon and anti-vaccination propaganda.[7][12][13]

This is bad news for the cheap labor express and the wealthy made rich from Globalism.
But good news in the long run for American Workers.

I smell a bail out for the rich and Too Big Too Fail Companies in the future.

Default China is not

China is not the only supply chain. There's Canada, Mexico, Brazil and Eastern Europe.

Then there’s there’s the U.S. dependence on pharmaceuticals from China:

- 97% of all antibiotics in the U.S. come from China, and

- about 80% of the active pharmaceutical ingredients used to make drugs are thought to come from China and other countries like India.

Americans are hearty and resourceful. We are also the fattest nation on the planet. We have plenty inventory, wealth, brain power, technology and food production to get us through a global catastrophe. Americans will make do during times of temporary delay of product deliveries of non essential items. Essential items are often made in many different countries, or even in the USA to minimize the risk of such a problem arising.

Democrats are salivating just thinking about how coronavirus can disrupt civilization in the USA, the stock market, etc. But the reality is, 30,000 died last year from the flu, and no one flinched. We have a long ways to go before we need to truly worry. So for now, enjoy the good times, and the liberal tears.
