Does anyone remember when Special Prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald brought charges against Scooter Libby for leaking CIA agent Valerie Plame's name? At the time he knew the leaker was Richard Armitage but prosecuted Libby anyways in hopes of getting Cheney. Libby was not charged with leaking Plames name but was charged and found guilty of lying. Does this sound familiar???
Libby's defense argued that any inconsistencies in what he told investigators was just due to innocent mistakes in his memories.
Why are the FBI and CIA, Brennon, Capper, Comey, McCabe, Styrk etc. allowed to get away with lying to investigators?
Sad to think that a biased federal government has the power to destroy the lives of innocent people. We can only hope that those behind this are held accountable.
