I neither know nor care about their parties, but apparently, yeah.

Phoenix "F" for Crime: Murder rate and violent crime rate almost twice the national average

Gilbert where I choose to live has an "A" for crime: Murder rate and violent crime rate are 1/10th that of Phoenix.

The same can be said of Scottsdale, Chandler and even Mesa, which all just happen to have more Republican leaders than Phoenix. I wouldn't say it's a Republican or Democrat thing, it's just that Phoenix Politicians have only made things worse for Phoenix.

Don't delude yourself, the west side of Mesa is ghetto (west of Gilbert Rd)

It's not going to happen though and these cities like LA, SF, Seattle, and now Phoenix will only get worse.
The quality of the government in the city of Phoenix is terrible. The city has a massive amount of unfunded pensions and debt and has nothing to show for it.

The news each night is a quarter-hour of non-stop crime stories and a vast majority of the crime is in the city of Phoenix. But that's what happens when you have all of those rude, disrespectful multi-generational welfare queens and kings in areas like Maryvale and Alhambra who have baby after baby and the children grow up and they become gang members and traffickers.

I can't think of another metropolitan area with so many great well-run suburbs as Phoenix but the itself is extremely poor run.

Phoenix has fantastic suburbs. Some of the best suburbs in the country in my opinion. Many top rated ones that are in fantastic fiscal shape like Scottsdale, Gilbert and Chandler. Tempe is Democratic and has it's share of issues but is a very fun city as has nightlife on the level of many multi-million person cities so it has some of the element that goes on along with it.

The city of Phoenix has nothing to offer me and many others: Overwhelmed by debt and pensions, police department that is internationally known for being crooked and dysfunctional, most of the schools are dumps in the city itself, they can't afford grass yards so most of the neighborhoods except the wealthy ones have dirt lots and with all the random dumping and litter debris in the air. The city of Phoenix fails in everyway compared to it's first-class suburbs.

It's ridiuclous the number of poor families who have baby after baby in the city of Phoenix itself. Maryvale and Alhambra are nothing but a contest of who can have the most babies they can't afford.

Glad there aren't poor women who have baby after baby like Rachel Henry in the suburbs of Gilbert and Scottsdale, unlike Phoenix which is hundreds of thousands of unfit parents

Quite honestly, I think it's going to be interesting with these rising rents

Between the heroin and meth addiction rates, extreme amounts of violent crime and massive amount of homeless encampments and incredibly rude people in the city itself there is no reason I can think why anyone would bother with a vast majority of the city of Phoenix.

"west side of Mesa is ghetto" That would be the Democrat voting side, as the mostly LDS areas of Mesa are fairly Conservative and very nice.

As far as Mesa and murder rate and violent crime rate, it is still less than 1/2 of Phoenix as a whole. Every night on the news when there is another shooting it's almost always in Phoenix and usually in the the Avenues. Not like all of Phoenix is bad, it's just Stanton and now Gallegos could never make it better.

Mesa has it's share of problems and I am no fan of it at all. But Mesa's crime problems are miniscule compared to Phoenix.

Mesa crime problems are miniscule compared to most cities of it's size. It's not that much smaller than Baltimore or Detroit these days but Mesa had just 11 homicides last year.

A vast majority of Mesa is extremely unappealing visually in my opinion and it offers very little for the size of it, but it's a very low crime city for a place of 500,000 especially the last several years many crime indexes have plummeted in Mesa

Mesa has it's fair share of poverty, much of it is not well maintained and is very inferior compared to other cities of 500,000 people. Mesa however has extremely low homicide rates.

With Mesa the police there are extremely visable and they tend to the flood a neighborhood quickly if there is an issue. People with criminal tendencies tend to avoid Mesa because the crime is very concentrated in a small geographical area and the police can flood an area with a massive response quickly.

Mesa for a city of 500,000 people actually has an extremely low number of homicides. It had 11 last year for instance.

A vast majority of Phoenix has lots of crime and it's extremely spread out. The reason why Phoenix police has so many issues is because they can only afford a single car response for most situations because it's a poor city overall with little tax base that struggling with pensions and debt.

Unless someone is on the border of Scottsdale or far north Phoenix or Ahwatukee in Phoenix they are likely going to be in an area with alot of issues.

Joe Arpaio had the best, most beautiful and wonderful tent city in Phoenix, all of Arizona and possibly the entire United States. Why are these people not in the real tent city wearing pink underwear and are able to roam the city freely now? What happened?

I think it is funny, Kate Gallego is a failing mayor and her city has lots and lots of problems.

Many Maricopa County residents only go to the airport in Phoenix or maybe a baseball game a few times a year.

Her failed leadership is why about 99% of the Valley's news is devoted to Phoenix and it's third-world living conditions.
Nothing in this post has to do with the argument you were making in the OP though.

Also, why would county Residents be going into Phoenix in the first place, I would assume their own cities could accommodate them, so im not sure why the bold matters in your mind.
