Ahh -- there are companies where some of the board of directors are employees -- but most aren't -- especially for big corporations.

No the company wasn't known for being corrupt -- they were investigating one large shareholder -- and it was completed prior to Biden coming on.

In this case -- like Hayley on Boeing -- Biden was a garnish.

The major shareholder of the company had been under investigation and cleared. They wanted to be perceived as being 'watched' over by people of integrity -- so they asked Hunter Biden. He was being paid for his name. It was most definitely because his dad was VP but not because his Dad was going to hide something etc.

It is the same with Hayley. She's on their as a garnish. She isn't really going to do anything criminal to help Boeing or devious or unscupulous -- but she's a good person to have sitting on the board.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/opini...porate-boards/Board members are largely like the garnish on the plate; they are a decorative feature. As such, it is handy if they can make the company look good. If a company can recruit a person of stature — or, failing that, the son of a person of stature — to become a director, it might make the company look good. Prospective investors, lenders and others doing business with the company might figure that if the company has such persons of stature on its board, it could not be that bad. It isn’t much different from companies hiring sports stars to shill for their products.

I don't believe Joe Biden did anything wrong. I don't believe he would -- on a mic admit to using influence in a situation where he was doing something wrong.

This wasn't a private phone call. this is a taped town hall.

AND....at the time world leaders, the administration, Congress & the House supported what Biden did. There was nothing hidden.....it was all in the open.

To suggest now some devious plan is diverting the attention away from what Trump did -- not so in the open -- lol.

The difference? We have Biden's confession on tape, so I don't think they have to worry about it.
What you don`t have is the knowledge that there was an international effort to remove a prosecutor who refused to investigate Trumpish corrupt politicians. Let me help.

Shokin was removed for failing to investigate political corruption

The investigation will continue whether the Dems want it or not. Geezer Biden will be damaged goods and will end his run. Hunter will go into hiding with all the loot he was given because his dad was VP. Even Obama saw this coming.

I think someone needs to start investigating Lindsay Graham. I have some very strong suspicions about him, from his mannerisms. I also suspect Trump has some serious dirt on him and has threatened him with outing him if he doesn't play ball. A couple of years ago, Graham was calling Trump every name under the sun, and, suddenly, he has become a world class boot licker. SOMETHING caused that huge change, and it sure isn't that Trump has done such a good job that he now respects him.

When a man has such strong anti Trump words one day, and then suddenly starts saying he is the best thing since sliced bread, someone has gotten to Graham and threatened him. And I think we all know what they threatened him with.

Face it. You're scared because you know that Biden is done for, and Sanders is too much of a crazy socialist. Say hello to four more years of Trump.
Pure, unadulterated fantasy right there.

Biden's actions were not secret, neither were Hunter's. How come the GOP didn't give a crap about this "obvious corruption" until summer 2019?

GTFO with that nonsense.

Did you type that with a straight face?

Shall I post a link to the thousands of posts by conservatives here using the same type of language?

This post is even more ridiculous than usual.

That's not the same thing as Biden having his personal lawyer go to Ukraine with a guy like Les Parnas to try and convince the govt. to do something.

Biden's actions at the time were well know -- by Lindsey Graham even --- world leaders, international groups, etc.

It was a generally accepted direction to oust the sitting prosecutor for one that would be tougher on corruption.

There is no secret.

No one is pretending that Joe Biden as VP of the United States -- was very public about pressuring Ukraine officials to be tougher on corruption.

Not the same thing as sending a personal lawyer......ousting an Ambassador that might not be sympathetic to the efforts to get Ukraine President to announce an investigation into a political opponent.
You can spin, dance, juggle -- and it will never be the same.
You'll in denial. Biden told the Ukranian govt that unless they stopped investigating his son, exposing his involvement in the corrupt Burisma, he was going to withhold funds. The irony of it all is that Biden's role was to weed OUT corruption in Ukraine, not help his son profit from it!

That is a bald-faced lie.
