Shakira was great; I enjoyed her performance. You'd never know she's 43.

The makeup probably because they put it on extremely thick so that people actually in the stadium can see some of her features. But when cameras can get up in close for televised viewing, it can come off as being really too much. I personally knew a professional makeup artist years ago who told me about all that type of thing. So that's probably why she had an abundance of makeup on. Seeing her from 50+ yards away looks ok, but up close and personal as what you can see using the zoom of cameras, she looks way over done with makeup.

Meh. I just watched the whole thing and found it silly, except for the light show. Next year they should just do an epic laser show backed by Wagner's Ride of the Valkyries.

I know she's from Colombia. She's from Barranquilla specifically, in the Caribbean part of Colombia. Same hometown as Edgar Renteria, the guy who got the game winning hit in the 1997 World Series (which also happened in Miami). You either missed my point or ignored it. The fact that she sang in Spanish, this would get people riled up and angry. I wasn't bothered by it. I think her singing sounded nice. However, there are people who would complain up a storm and say things like "America's being taken over", etc. I would read the rest of the post before making a judgement.

In the Current Year though, a man on Monday morning in the office saying that Jennifer Lopez looked hot would have himself before an HR tribunal. Such is our world.

Next year they should switch gears and have one of the world's great guitarists play the halftime show. I am suggesting Joe Satriani or Joe Bonamassa.

Yeah Shakira was tying herself with ropes and squirming but men can't say that was hot.

I heard this was supposed to be " historic". I thought it at best was in poor taste and run of the mill lame as far as most halftime shows go. And what's the big deal about Shakira? Is she the Charo of 2020? Okay looking, but not that hot. Reasonably talented for a pop star but that doesn't say all that much. Man, have our standards dropped.
Great actual SuperBowl game, though.

Superbowl 2020 will go down in history as Skankbowl. Though not really that much different than other years.
