That is my feeling too. They seem to be enjoying the song, not protesting, so I am not sure what the video proves. Most people around them are sitting down, so is it possible it simply did not occur to them to stand. It could be the case with people who do not frequent in events where the anthem is sang.

Wow, I didn't realise it was illegal to not stand for the national anthem in the 'land of the free'.

That's a bunch of bunk --- the public address announcer always asks the crowd to stand for the national anthem and also remove their hats.

For the same reason some Americans are so obsessed with what other Americans thinks about or consider important and wanting everyone to "calm down" over issues that person does not find substantial.

Who cares what some people choose to "obsess" over? Why get so obsessed with what other people are obsessed about?

I don't know. It does not look like a protest. She is singing along, and he is leaning forward to see. Maybe you just feel the need to always be offended by something, or someone. How about everyone else who is sitting around them, including the guy wearing the red hat. Is that a maga-hat? Are they all protesting?

Maybe it was a protest, and maybe it wasn't. I don't care what other people do. I choose to stand. I am not a statist.
