Can you explain how you are getting screwed?

1) Higher gas taxes were put into place by your elected officials.

2) Higher land values require higher gas prices to produce the same % return to investors.
Same reason why the chips or burritos or lip balm they sell inside are also much more expensive than if you wandered into a gas station in rural Missouri.

You are correct. It helped the economy recover and Obama actually got heat from the environmental crowd for not blocking it.

The irony however that under Obama they did in fact "drill baby drill" is pretty hilarious.

Yup. I remember Neil Young wanted Obama impeached for it.

Op didn't account for differences in taxes, operational costs, land investment costs.

But otherwise it was a fair comparison. LMAO.

Like explaining why James Polk was a vastly better president than Trump because he had ZERO auto fatalities in the US during his presidency.

Sarah Palin was proved right more than once vs the hapless community agitator.

According to Obama in 2008, gasoline would be $10/gallon by now and we'd all be driving cheap electrical cars. LAWL.

In Obama's defense, he realized how important oil production was to the recovering US economy so he bucked his own party and stayed out of the way.

Frankly, it was a wise and pragmatic move on his part. Something that is lacking in many politicians with the mental flexibility of an uncooked piece of spaghetti.

Any CANDIDATE can say anything and think there is a magic cure-all but once they sit in that chair in the Oval Office the realize it’s not so easy

Example: the above comments from Obama in 2008
Or trump saying how hard health care reform was (with a gop majority in both the house and senate)
Former defense secretary thought Iraq won’t last 6 months

I love the BS way you attempt to defend Obama. It's called the fallacy of relative privation.
