He was acquitted --- as Trump will be.

But the term is not exonerated. That suggests a all accusations/blame is absolved. That is not what has happened.
The House still found Trump guilty and impeached him.
The Senates acquittal doesn't absolve that.

He may have indeed refused to shake Nancy's hand, but the video is not clear on that point, he may just not had seen her extend her hand. But if he did refuse to shake her hand, good on him. Nancy Pelosi is a lying partisan hack that has been working to undermine his Presidency for 3+ years, and began a politically motivated impeachment of him just to smear him. All the while claiming that she was "praying for the President".

Rush Limbaugh, on the other hand, does have lung cancer. In his case—his specific case—he bragged for decades that smoking tobacco does not cause cancer. He also belittled people who couldn't tolerate secondhand smoke. Limbaugh, the blowhard, was on the cover of Cigar Aficionado, as a matter of fact. He encouraged people to smoke cigars. Thatis what is shameful.
Handing out the Medal of Freedom during the State of the Union to anyone, let alone that vile man, the same guy who stirred up divisiveness and hatred, was entirely inappropriate.
