There are actually 130 million Americans (not 50 million) with preexisting conditions that now have coverage under Obamacare that Trump is trying to eliminate that may very well die!

Can you please provide some links with quotes from Trump stating that he is against those with pre existing conditions being able to be covered by insurance affordably? Thanks.

I'm asking because I can google this (and have) and I find all sorts of references and implications regarding Trump's opposition to the ACA in general, but I can't find anything specific that he's done to keep those with pre existing conditions from obtaining insurance at the same rates as others.

There's a WHOLE lot more to the ACA than pre existing conditions coverage. A whole, whole, whole lot more - so much more that we had to pass the legislation before we could actually read and understand it, according to Pelosi anyway.

It was great under Clinton. A man that is a Centrist by comparison today, and would never be nominated by Democrats today. Just like the Anti Communist JFK. He would never be nominated today.

Just so you are aware. Little Nancy's antics are getting dems to switch parties on twitter this morning reported. Nothing spells dirty as much as a poor sport.

For the first time I actually believe in Trump Derangement Syndrome. Hates makes people blind I guess..

I hope the demolibs keep her as the speaker of the house for a long long time. Nothing damages their party quite like from within by Pelosi herself. Lol!
I didn't see the speech - and I watch the clip below of her ripping the paper.

That's pretty much what they have been reduced to... meaningless symbolic gestures that appear deranged.

Pence commented that she may be ripping up the Constitution.

SOTU attendee who lost loved one said "she ripped our hearts out"... "most disrespectful thing he has seen"

Do you blame him? Whatever she is afflicted with might be contagious.

But to say it is the best ever, and that he turned it around complete -- is wrong.
He didn't -- go back and check -- the economy is on the same track it was.

Positive job growth started in 2010 and by the time Trump took office end of January of 2017 -- there had been 77 months of job growth.

Given that there was no new policy from Trump for at least two months -- you could argue that Trump has only been able to impact job growth for the last 34 months. ....113 months of positive job growth -- 34 months is a small portion of that time frame.

There was no surge in job growth. There was no surge in GDP. Wage increases have happened but after 113 months of job growth you would anticipate that naturally happening - -no matter what Trump did....and he hasn't done anything.

After the big tax cut and the winter of bonuses -- corporations - -after years of profit gains -- have not shared the wealth with their employees.

There is a big reduction in folks on food stamps not because of some big shift in upward mobility -- but because Trump and states have made it HARDER to get those benefits (which is not necessarily a bad thing and not under debate in this post...that's another post)...but we don't have a big shift of people moving up to middle class from the lower class.

The trade deals aren't realized. So they aren't impacting the economy yet. NAFTA is still the trade policy in place and has been for the last three years...and look at the economy doing well with NAFTA -- imagine that.

Stock market is clearly not dependent on Trump's economic policy. The Dow has been going up and took a dive with the virus and then went up again when China announced a 175 B stimulus. That wasn't Trump -- he didn't do that.

Healthcare -- still a problem....expensive, not available to everyone
Immigration -- no comprehensive plan that provides solutions for those here or coming in....but a wall that has blown down
Deficit -- nothing at all to address that problem.
And yet...

What do you think would happen to our military if any of the Dem candidates get elected?

Would more, or less, people be on food stamps?

Jobs - For the first time in a very long time, I am seeing "Help Wanted" signs in local store windows. And don't say corporations aren't sharing profits with employees. I work for a very large international firm and since Trump was elected, we've received a bonus every 6 months instead of once a year, and our raises have gone from maybe 2-3% to over 5% a year.

How would the stock market do once all student loan debt was forgiven?

How expensive would healthcare be for taxpayers when they have to support illegal immigrants and all non-taxpaying Americans?

What would happen to the deficit when you add trillions in spending that is being proposed by the Dem candidates?

Look at things positively - she could start wearing a mask and then we wouldn't have to watch her mouth contortions.

First, specifically what has trump and the repubs done to protect those with pre-existing conditions?

Trump's admin is in court trying to take those protections away! The only way he can truly protect people with pre-existing conditions is to drop the lawsuit now.

Trump supporters all upset over Pelosi's behavior is pathetic and immensly hypocritical.

If you really think independents and moderates are going to look at Pelosi's behavior and turn to *Trump*...well, bless your heart. The standards of behavior have been lowered...and Trump is the one who lowered them.
