Him living on a Kibbutz during one's youth does that make someone lean then or right. One just learns what it's like to part of community. Even today as Israel leans Right, Israeli's still help each other when the need arises. As to Healthcare it is coverage from birth to death (with some limitations), but isn't mostly paid for as taxation from one's paycheck which is higher than than the US does and has no income deduction cutoff as the US. Higher education is a right and very low cost as long as one passes the correct exams needed to get
into the higher level universities. Social Safety Net? Welfare in the US versus welfare in the Israel is not that different.
