And if you don’t think insurance should pay for childbirth, you’re making a great case for abortion which averages $650. Which do you think people without the means to spend 30k to 50k on childbirth would choose??
really don't care which they choose... its their choice, and their bill

and that is exactly the problem with insurance (private or government), it make it that it is no longer your responsibility...

You would have let your wife and child die out of principle had you not have been able to pay out of pocket? That’s cold!

Insurance isn’t free you pay for it so yes being insured means you are responsible. Not being insured is foolish

From a biological standpoint abortion does not kill babies.

Abortion ends pregnancy, potential life.

While I agree insurance has gotten out of hand there is a reason it came to be. Regulations, costs, courts have all gotten out of hand. If we did away with health insurance, life insurance, car insurance, malpractice insurance, there would be a lot of folks in debtors prison after filing for bankruptcy.

People pay a lot of money for insurance premiums to cover their bum in case of unforeseen circumstances, its a gamble. Insurances companies make tons of $$$$$. So if you have a pregnancy, planned, or an accident, if you get cancer, have a heart attack, your house burns, you wreck your car and you have paid premiums to cover such, yes insurance should pay. Its the nature of the beast.

I also believe insurance should cover birth control and abortion if for no other reason than its cheaper in the long run.

Ah, the circle round to it's not living, it's not alive, it isn't growing or developing. If it weren't living, there would be no need for an abortion, right?

The idea of "potential life" is false. Illogical. Made up euphemism so women could be brainwashed into thinking abortion does not kill babies. And it's been successful, I'll give you that.

But it's a 100% falsehood. Abortion kills babies.

If being pregnant, means a woman is having a baby, and she has an abortion ... where does the baby go since (according to YOU) the abortion doesn't kill babies?

She still has the baby, right?

PS. You mean like a toddler is a potential adult? The toddler really isn't human yet until it becomes an adult and can drink, drive, serve in the military, and vote? Why not make your arbitrary timeline stopping point there? Since toddlers are well incapable of caring for themselves, too?
