When Trump kicked hill baby's sloppy, fat, old a$$, he saved America..! All of the deplorable democrats should be on their knees thanking the man. He has MAGA and has made life much better for every stinking democrat out there.

A vote for the democratic candidate is a vote that you hope America will fail...

Unfortunately, I fear we're already headed toward this when so many people these days don't trust the traditional news sources.

If we say, as Republicans do, that what Trump did is not an impeachable offense, we are telling ourselves and every future president — in direct contradiction of what the founders wrote in the Constitution — that it is OK to enlist a foreign power to tilt the election your way. Can you imagine how much money candidates could raise from Saudi Arabia or China to tilt a future election their way, or how many cyberwarriors they could enlist from Russia or Iran to create fake news, suppress voting or spur outrage?

The integrity of our elections would be shattered, and we would never again have a legitimate president — a president, who, whether or not you liked him or her, was at least seen as legitimately elected. That would be a prescription for permanent political chaos, as no future presidents’ authority would be respected if they were elected on the basis of foreign interference.

This is an assumption, and not a fact. Trump was trying to determine of a former Vice-President did something illegal, or not. That is the President's job.

If Biden shot and killed an innocent person in front of witnesses and it was all on film, would he be exempt from an investigation, just because he was running for President? Of course not.

Your logic is totally invalid. Presidential candidates are held to the same legal standards as the rest of us.

Blame the arrogant house Dems.

I wish they had a clue how much could have been accomplished if they had worked with Trump, exactly as they ran on in 2018.

I'm glad he is being acquitted because this whole deal was an attempt to hijack the Republic by the Dem led house.

Shifty should be impeached.
I won`t blame the Dems for upholding the oath they took to defend this country, including it`s elections.

Congress has already demonstrated it's an impeachable offense by the very act of bring up the charges and approving them by a vote of the House. Apparently what it isn't though is sufficient an offense to warrant removal from office by the office-holders own party. The positive from this experience was the exposure of the crime to the public view. A negative is that it has damaged our relations with the Ukraine -- exactly what Putin wanted.

What crime was that, winning the 2016 election?

Neither. It's not a matter of intellect. Einstein was a Liberal. Bill Gates..I could name many.

Most of them are Liberals because they lack confidence in themselves. They are afraid they can't make it on their own, so they seek out others (who feel the same) to form groups, because there's power in numbers, and it lowers their anxiety levels. They have inferiority complexes, and low self-reliance. They are oft referred to as "snowflakes". They use the power of numbers to install societal safety nets.

Then, there's the wealthy and powerful liberals who have different motives. Many of those want to control others, and they see the weak non-wealthy "snowflake" Liberals as the easiest targets to control. The Democrat party politicians and the Liberal media typify this group. They use large groups of "snowflakes" as pawns to attack the hardest group to control...conservatives.

Then, there are liberals who have weak morals, and they want to destroy the moral foundation of America so their own deviant behavior will become mainstream, and accepted. Hollywood is a great example of this group. The 2020 Superbowl halftime show puts this groups agenda on full display, under the guise of entertainment.

There's likely a 4th group that do not fit neatly into the other 3. Rogue Liberals. They can move in between the other 3 groups, but mostly remain invisible. They stay to themselves, and only seek the safety of the group when its convenient for them.

The later fallout from a failed IN-peachment is increased Liberal fear...fear of retribution. Not knowing when it will strike.
