They are all corrupt and need to be voted out.

I'll hand this to him, he has more gritt, courage and ethics than the whole rest of his party in the Senate

Mitt Romney: Profile in Courage.
Romney might be a decent fellow - but he stabbed Trump in the back on this one.

And of course he is your kind of republican -- the one who doesn't fight back against the media/democratic establishment. The kind that loses elections, like in 2012.

NOW WHO EXACTLY IS THE TRAITOR? Who fought for their country? Who ran away? Who in their right mind could vote for such a blowhard coward?
Slick Willie didn't go to Vietnam either -- there were many people of all political stripes who didn't.

They called McCain a war monger and Hitler when he was running against Obama. They called Bush the same names plus "Chimp". Now they love them because being the Globalist, Progressives that they were/are repeated the lies about Trump. Just a bit HYPOCRITICAL, huh?

Indeed. Remember they attacked Romney for strapping his dog in a crate tied to the roof of the family car, him bullying a kid when he was in prep school, jokes about his magic underwear, etc. Now that he voted against Trump they lionize him.

The GOP has devolved into a mindless assemblage of frat boys who just can't get enough of tRump's act.

Romney didn't get in step, so he's being demonized.

That freak show in the WH yesterday showed that all the rest are "just following orders." None have the integrity to speak out against the madness.

Instead they laugh and cheer.

Cowards, all...

Yup. And I'm sure "Crazee Cat Lady" didn't vote for Romney in 2012 and wouldn't vote for him if there was an acceptable left wing lunatic Democrat running against him in another election.

I didnt vote for Slick either. Seems I cant pick a winner. You want to take me along if you bet on horse races and vote for different horse than I do.

And to be fair I have voted third party several times since I live in red state and my vote is wasted whoever I vote for. I would voted for McCain if he hadnt picked that nitwit Alaska woman as his running mate. She was Trump in drag. I know why he did it, but I also lost lot respect for the man in doing so.

There are smart Republicans out there, remember William F. Buckley Jr. , host of Firing Line? Why cant they ever nominate somebody like that. Why always scrape the bottom of the cesspool for silly stupid cartoonish characters?

Romney:
Opposed Trump in the 2016 election
Suddenly became pro-Trump after he won the election and was currying favor for a job
2020, sour grapes Mittens Votes to Impeach Trump

Mittens is a garden variety unprincipled politician, i.e. not "brave"

Excluding Mitt Romney, when the Republican party finally gets fed up with being bullied and threatened by Trump they will have no where to turn. When we needed them to honor their oath as Mitt Romney did they fell in line behind Trump and the White House. There really is no coming back from that. We all saw it.

Drain the swamp --- and start with this creep.

While we will never know what motivated Romney, but the fact that he was willing to cross party lines is something to be admired, not vilified. We need more politicians who are willing to vote based on what they believe instead of blindly following their party.
