Not a Trump fan in the slightest and will NEVER vote for him but I have to say that I love how he triggers the elites in the media and the politically correct! They are just BESIDE themselves that someone will not play by their rules or behave how they expect.
My problem with Trump has always been that he is incompetent and ignorant of the issues he is affecting through his time in office.
I have never had a problem with him calling out he media or refusing to be politically correct. I just enjoy watching the TDS drive these people nuts.

Well in many cases the targets of his rudeness and vulgarity, like most of the mainstream media and many politicians, have richly deserved it and are completely unaccustomed to it.
I also find it astounding and disturbing and quite a sad, scary reflection of the times we live in that more people are outraged at someone being politically incorrect then they are for being dangerously incompetent at their job.

Your first paragraph perfectly describes the SJW types. To a tee. Really repulsive people, if you've ever had the misfortune to interact with them. I would add "narcissistic" to the list of adjectives. The complete antithesis of what they portray themselves to be.

People love him because he's anti-establishment. People are tired of the way things are going. Yes Trump is all the things you mentioned, and many more. But people overlook these things to cheer him on. But deep down they know he's off his nut, but are too invested to admit it.
