Expanding Medicare, improving the benefits for the disabled and stronger labor rights, like paid family leave, sick leave and overtime pay.

They waste the money, government is extremely corrupt in America and can't do anything correctly.

Seems as though when ever I am in a Democratic state with a socialist tax scheme I see tons and tons of disabled wallowing in wheelchairs. '

I have seen many helpless people in Democratic socialist tax level California on my journeys who are in terrible physical pain wallowing in pain in their tents in McArthur Park, there was an older women soaked in urine in a wheelchair in Escondido as police cars drove by and could have cared less.

All these programs are expensive and rarely go to those that need the service and usually go to those that don't need it. The words are hollow I know the fortune California spends for social services as I looked at the budget but what is going on at street level in the state on trips there is like none of programs exist

The expansions the Democratic socialists propose are not going to go to the elderly for expended Medicare or the disabled, they go to families with children.

They can expand Medicare but if they don't have the supply to meet demand it isn't an expansion but a sham.

They can say they that they going to have Medicare for All but the health care will be terrible and very expensive. If works in some countries with less corrupt government and healthier populations but in America a one-payer health system through Medicare would be a disorganized mess. They are corrupt and getting more corrupt by the day.

I am against paid-family leave if it is government provided, if it's what the employer wants then let the employer offer it and workers will apply for that employer if it's something they might need in the future.

Sick Leave I actually agree with. You sick worker can make 500+ people sick in the food or healthcare industry so I do agree with sick leave. I don't believe in it as a employer requirement but as minimum wage for a certain number of days per year for those who make less than a certain amount.

I don't believe in mandatory overtime pay. I do believe that people should be able to refuse to work overtime though without negative ramifications.

Neither. It's not socialism. Too many people conflate welfare with socialism, but they are two different things. The definition of socialism is when government has a monopoly on a particular industry (or part of one).

It is also not something a decent country would do. There is nothing decent about forcibly depriving one person of the property/resources they have earned and given it to someone else who has not.
