Are we not subject to globalism in the US? In any case, our discussion is way off topic for this thread. That is my fault, since I brought it up. Would you happen to know if there's a thread for discussion of the bill anywhere in the forum?

Yeah, I just checked and didn't see one either. Most people don't know about the bill, the media isn't covering it. For good reason, I imagine. Well, it's been nice chatting, I have to get back to work.

That's pretty imaginative, LOL. Make a movie out of that.

Anyway, back to reality.

He looks like an antifa type. Behaves like one too.

^^^^^^^^ Goes for you too.

kmarc;Nah, more likely CIA or FBI, but my money's on the CIA. The perp has that vacant eyed look, like the phone rang and the words were said and he was triggered. They like to go after the loners for that sort of thing. But if they can get dems and reps to point fingers at each other, mission accomplished!

It looks as if the perp didn't really want to hurt anyone, just shake them up a bit.
Mighty white of him.

WMak70;Here is the reality that Trump supporters need to accept. NEVER, NEVER in this country have we seen the level of hostility and division that we are seeing here today, and it all falls on one man's shoulders. Donald Trump has made America us vs them, and even families are split down the middle because of the poisonous atmosphere he has created.
What a load. "You see your Honor, I tried to run down a group of "Rs" because Trump forced me to do it."

......Who, among us, has not felt like ripping one of those stupid red MAGA hats off of a Trump supporter, and stomping on it ? Trump has driven a wedge down the middle of America, and I only can hope the next person is able to fix it....."
Nobody I know but then again I don't know anybody that deranged.

If I did i would ask, no, BEG them to get psychiatric help.

I have to ask, if you ever came across a person wearing a T shirt with Che Guevara's mug on it would still go batsh** crazy?

In order for an Attempt charge to be founded, the intent to murder must be proven. If that is not proveable, than neither is the Attempt of. Upgraded charges may come later though after discovering additional facts/evidence. Of course, this is a general fact, and FL law may or may not require it as you say.

Vehicular or Aggravated vehicular assault may be more of a proper charge.

If I shoot at a person point blank in the commission of a crime, there is no question I intended murder. I don't have to hit them in order for a charge to stick.

How about a terrorism charge? Because honestly thats what this is. He needs to be locked away for a good long while. Just like anyone else committing this sort of crime. R or L, I dont care. commit a crime and do time.

It's okay, I understand. Heck half the fun of this forum is the verbal jousting that gets a tad rowdy. .

If you go back and read about the grief he took for starting social security, you see that it is the same socialist, commie comments you see from the right used to describe Democrats today. The fear mongering and the hate work, but the reality is that the economic trends show a better economy when Democrats are in charge. Remember when Obama started he ACA? It was vastly unpopular and part of the reason he lost both houses. It's ironic that the Democrats took back the house in part because Trump tried to kill the ACA.

One more point to ponder. What's going to happen when the next recession hits with a record high deficit? Re-searchable rhetoric doesn't frighten me, but we are now in uncharted territory. But hey, as long as your tribe wins, the heck with America right?
