Trump will get blamed for all things negative that happens for the next 15 years... even after the world ends in 11+ years - they will be blaming him in the heavens and beneath the earth.

That is not the question. The question is does Trump get both credit and blame for the economy.

If the GOP suddenly accepted responsibility for something, it would be the first time ever. They won't even own the economic disaster of 2007-08, which took place after 7 years of full GOP control of House, Senate and White House.

I thought the left hated "what if's"

What if the world ends, should Trump be blamed?

There is no economic downturn on the horizon, even though the left were wishing for a recession last year. Bill Mar is a sick puppy!

The left has been entirely wrong to the point of becoming silly.

Why not enjoy the best economy in 40 years and shelve the Eeyore BS for another day?

And that’s my point. Trump complained about low interest rates during a recession under Obama but loses his mind at an increase now. We are borrowing money from China to give to farmers to not sell to China. The debt is increasing at a faster rate in three years than during a recession under Obama. Say Trump gets re-elected and the economy crashes, Will Trump supporters say Trump owns it?

Other than doubling the deficit with the payday loan tax scam and the tariff nonsense, what has Trump done that would impact the economy one way or another?

Trump supporters constantly credit Trump for the economy. They can’t have it both ways. So will they admit a crash would be Trump’s fault?

If he claims credit for the good economy, he has to take the responsible for the bad. But that'll never happen.

The fact that you guys ARE NOT complaining about the great economy speaks for itself.

Thanks for asking.
