"WASHINGTON (AP) -- Federal prosecutors ask judge to sentence Trump confidant Roger Stone to serve between 7 and 9 years in prison."

One can only imagine what "Individual #1" might be awarded if he ever has to face the music.

No one physically harmed
No one's property harmed
No one's property was stolen

There is no crime to punish.

Roger Stone always struck me as a pompous, smug, overdressed pimp. Wonder how he will look in orange?

What did the jury find him guilty for?

Barr directly interferes with another highly political case to please and protect Trump. Never has the Justice Dept seen such rampant interference. It is being used as a tool to do Trump's personal bidding. Barr even acknowledged yesterday that he has set up a process for the department to receive information on the Biden's from none other than private citizen and Trump stooge Rudy Giuliani. Barr has turned this department into a joke with it now more accurately being referred to as the Dept of INJUSTICE. The Republicans in congress have only further emboldened Trump by allowing him to do whatever he wants without being held accountable for his actions. This has led Trump to use every lever of government to further his personal benefit and whims.

He lied to federal investigators about something that was legal. Had he taken the Hillary approach and repeated "I don't recall" 72 times he would of been fine. Stone deserves punishment but 9 years seems overboard to me.
