Could that be because that same policy was also done by the OBAMA administration?

The segregation of children from the general, ILLEGAL alien population was STARTED by the Obama Admin, and was a GOOD POLICY for Trump to continue. Why would you want innocent kids mixed in with potential rapists, drug dealers, drug traffickers, scammers, and other criminals?

And yet almost 90% of the the cops found nothing and let the person go. Only .2% of the time did they find a gun.

What does that tell your about the effectiveness or rationality of the policy?

Then there's the fact that minorities were 8x more likely to arrested for drugs than White people, even though drug use between races is almost identical.

What does that tell you about the purpose of the policy?
