What country are you from? It happens at all levels. Got a speeding ticket? Call your buddy the mayor or a councilman.

Little Joey got a little carried away with that sleazy Girl Sue and now she cries rape? No worries Uncle frank is big in the party that got Judge Corkscrew elected.

Every time the POYUS grants a pardon he is involving himself . Oh it's ok as long as you like the president?

Bill Clinton pardoned his own brother. LOL

And btw, Trump didn't invent or increase the amount of power invested in the Chief Executive. He simply won an election and got to wield it.
When trump loses in November, it wouldn't surprise anyone if he passes out blanket pardons before January to all his convicted pals.

Let's see. The DOJ recommended lighter sentencing, the DOJ is legally and undisputably an executive branch department...so...not seeing the problem. Trump didn't threaten a judge or jury, didn't "command" the judge or jury to do anything, simply had a different sentencing request sent...where exactly is the problem???

Bull****. Trump can say what he wants about it and Barr can investigate it since it's clearly an over the top sentence propped up by things already determined to be fake.

Corruption? No, this IS SPARTAAAA

The Stone takedown was obviously payback for going after Hillary during the campaign. Unless the pile of trash that is John Brennan shares a jail cell with Stone for lying to Congress also, I’ll enjoy seeing Stone receive a pardon or vastly reduced sentence.

Stone is a scummy weirdo, but even scummy weirdos deserve fair treatment under the law.

Pardon him.

No most American voters don't feel the Republicans are going to gain even more power -- you made that up.

Sorry, I didnt make it up, it was the results from a recent poll of American voters that showed 66% think Trump will be re-elected...

If one had to pick a news story that best represents Cartoon Network News fans, THIS is the Gold Standard.
