This is the classic back pedal. Used to see this a lot when Obama was in office. Someone would post an OBVIOUSLY fake article, or something that made zero sense if you take 2 seconds to think about it and then when they get called out for it they're like "Obviously this isn't real, but I could see him doing something like this"
