Black and Hispanic youths and young adults commit a very disproportionate amount of crime in America's urban areas. Whites and Asians not so much.

What are we supposed to do about this? Pretend it's not real?

The vast majority of these neighborhood shootings are commited by black and latino males....a fact that liberals will not admit. They're all packing now due to the end of stop and frisk.

Isn't that what we are doing right now ? We've got Bloomberg claiming he's going to spend 60 million to restrict the rights of legal gun owners.....yet I haven't heard his plans for solving the inner city violence we see across the nation.

Let's just keep putting our heads in the sand, and ignore the situation...

It doesn't. The criteria for stopping and frisking will increase as they look harder and harder for crimes in search of a victim.

More like crimes in search of fines, fees, court costs and more reasons to hire more police and "justice system" bureacrats.

So what? That's no excuse to violate someone's 4th Amendment rights.

So what? I do not care.

1) You have the right to own a gun. 2nd Amendment.
2) You have the right to not be subjected to unreasonable search and seizure. 4th Amendment.

I'm against it because it violates important civil liberties. That is what happened when Bloomberg and Giuliani did that in NYC.

He who would sacrifice essential liberties for temporary security will have neither. -Benjamin Franklin.

I'd prefer drugs be decriminalized, wage laws be abolished, welfare and all forms of licensure ended. Let people work legit jobs.
Anyway, high crime trailer parks, ghettos, urban streets, etc. are a symptom of wrongheaded govt policies. The cure isnt to pile on more of it, especially when it is a violation of your own govt's rule book and more importantly the state has no moral authority to stop people who havent committed any crime.
