SMH. I would encourage her to review the meaning of the word “multicultural.” It’s not all about her so hopefully she will grow up.
UVA doesn’t need any more negative publicity. It was enough to have scores of white supremacists spreading their filth on the campus. Hopefully she won’t have anything more to say after this.
Multicultural centers on universities are places built as temples to leftist social policies and attitudes, these places typically emphasize liberal darling racial groups and demonize white people.
What should they be? Places which encourage people of different races to learn about each other’s cultures and interact with each other. The place SHOULD be a place for both black and white people to hang out together, it should not be intended to be a segregated space as that racist black woman claimed it was. In fact it would defeat the purpose of places like that, which is to foster cross cultural understanding.
The best way for our society to get over race is to hang out with each other, go to church together and be neighbors. Until we do that not much will ever change. I do believe many white people are willing to see this happen but there is more resistance from parts of the black community. This woman seems to exemplify that racist element that exists with some black people. I’m a pretty white bread guy but I have been to some pretty black places....soul food houses, blues bars, and even a black house party. Was never treated poorly in any of those places so I know that woman does not speak for most black people. My experience is that most of them are ready to be done with it all as well. Still some from both sides like to wave the bloody shirt over and over again. The PC and the SJW crowd also can the flames of identity politics keeping the old hatreds smoldering. These leftists are the real enemies....they are the ones who need racism alive to be relevant. They need the division.
Does segregation even need an argument? The benefits for all involved seem awfully self-evident.
