Report: Trump’s DOJ Gave Over $500K To ‘Hookers For Jesus’ Ministry.

First Amendment Violation: A new scandal is brewing for the Trump administration after a recent report reveals that the Department of Justice (DOJ) gave over $500,000 in anti-human trafficking grant money to “Hookers For Jesus,” a proselytizing Christian ministry.

Reuters reports:

A U.S. Justice Department anti-human trafficking grant program is facing internal complaints, after two nonprofits were denied funding in favor of two less established groups whose applications were not recommended by career DOJ officials.

The awarding of more than $1 million total to the two groups, Hookers for Jesus in Nevada and the Lincoln Tubman Foundation in South Carolina, has triggered a whistleblower complaint filed by the Justice Department’s employee union to the department’s Inspector General.

Is this another "scandal" - where career government officials are mad that Trump did not do what they wanted?

I will say that out of all these Christian groups I have seen the names for, "Hookers for Jesus" is 1 of the weirdest.

Your source is a blog from a website I've never heard of and won't click on.

You have anything less oh....alex jones-ish that shows a clear depiction of events and how Trump got personally involved and so forth?

Magdalene, but, otherwise, yes, you typed the words right out of my keyboard.

He came to save hookers and tax collectors, the sick and moribund. Nothing weird about it, it's all written very clearly.

Now, sucking at government teat is always petty business where runts compete with big mouths.
