And, registration leads to confiscation.

Especially with the Liberals pushing things out there.

The public is not that stupid.

You have no constitutional right to drive. It is a privilege.

You have a constitutional right to own guns. You don’t license a right.

You, me, and probably 90% or more of the responsible gun owner populace.

Well said.

Seriously. There are already >20k laws at the local, state and federal levels that somehow infringe upon the 2nd Amendment. What else would the OP suggest, other than outright banning them entirely?

Maybe we should License and Register Free Speech and require a background check, training, large FEES like with guns? I mean Obama had "FREE SPEECH ZONES", so maybe bring them back too.

Instead of spending their time blathering on about more restrictions for the law abiding, why don't the anti gun crowd spend their time and money trying to solve the issues that cause all the inner city violence ? Why aren't they targeting criminals ? The judicial system that lets felons back out on the streets ?

Probably, because they don't care about that...their agenda is to disarm the populace. Something I find very odd, since many of them on the left whine about Trump being a dictator.....

That is always my #1 "isn't that ironic?" thought when I hear anti-gun people shrieking how only the government should have guns. They all think Trump is some devil bearded caudillo dictator, but they all want to make sure only he and his government have guns.

Oddest concept ever, imho.

Do you need a license to exercise your 1st amendment rights?

No?

Then why would anyone need a license to exercise their 2nd amendment rights?
