You know the president really sucks when he's got a good economy while consistently polling in the 40's.

No change for us. Husband's salary hasn't changed in many years. Its been stagnant. Oh our taxes went up a little. Glad my husband will be retiring. I have other income but that has nothing to do with Trump.

White men most likely to feel better off under Trump — poll... FT-Peterson Economic Monitor showed that among likely voters, white men are the only group with close to a majority who believe they are better off. Forty-eight per cent said they were either “much better off” or “somewhat better off” since Mr Trump took office.

Like the 1950s, these are great times if you are white, heterosexual, and the right kind of Christian. These are great times if you conform to a narrow ideal of what it means to be normal. These are hellish times for anyone else. These are frightening times for people who actually care about this country and it's future and care about issues other than criminalizing abortion, homosexuality, and imposing a strict religious code on everyone.

Economically, I'm in the same place as I've been since 2012 and am still doing much worse than I was before the 2008 recession.
