Yeah, talking points <> reality.

How can people seriously support anyone engaging in this kind of corruption? Whether it's Trump, Biden, Buttigieg or anyone of the other ones?

I dont get it. These people can NOT represent ordinary Americans.
Lol... So you are upset today about something that has been done for hundreds of years... Perhaps you like to say a word about your Democrat nominees.. or do they also not represent the people and all that fake crap?

They would never have been able to rake in billions doing that if they were not so powerful in the first place. It's the same reason why prescription drug prices are through the roof and Medicare is not allowed to negotiate drug prices. They bribe various candidates to get what they want, obviously. If you dont realize that with great money comes great power, there is really not much else to discuss.

If you can read, I mentioned several Democrat nominees in the post you quoted.

Lots of evil stuff has been going on for a long time. It doesn't mean we should just lie down and take it. Especially not lie about it and claim this is good and part of some "swamp draining". Its blatant corruption.

That's the way politics has worked since pretty much forever. Candidates get sponsors and of course those sponsors support the candidate who favors their issues and who they believe they can count on for support at a later time. Its like lobbying but with $$ involved and a way politicians raise money for their campaign.

You'd turn down 560k to have dinner with Trump where you could sit across the table and criticize his policy?

So outraged you can't even analyze a hypothetical situation correctly? You might want to dial it back down to 10.

What, you honestly think at a dinner like that you'd actually be able to "sit across the table and criticize his policy"? They'd have staff usher you out so quickly your feet wouldn't even touch the floor on your way out the door!
