This is the president that holds his own self-interests above ALL Americans.
Quote:
President Donald Trump appeared Thursday to link his administration's policies toward New York to a demand that the state drop investigations and lawsuits related to his administration as well as his personal business and finances.
Hours before New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo was set to meet the president at the White House, Trump tweeted that Cuomo “must understand” that National Security far exceeds politics,” a reference to his administration’s recent decision to halt New York’s access to the Global Entry and other “trusted traveler” programs that allow New Yorkers faster border crossings and shorter airport lines.
Trump continued, “New York must stop all of its unnecessary lawsuits & harrassment, start cleaning itself up, and lowering taxes.”
Trump’s invocation of “lawsuits & harrassment” was a reference to the state’s numerous lawsuits against his administration and also against Trump’s business, which is based in New York.
New York state holding Trump hostage over another hoax.
There is already a fair amount of easily-verifiable information out there that Trump valued his properties at one price to obtain loans and valued them at a fraction of those prices on his tax returns. But, of course, that would require an effort to read and digest information which is obviously much harder than typing out "hoax" like a lemming and calling it a day.
just because Val Demings, the FL Congresswoman who didn't succeed in impeachment, claims it's a quid pro quo - or Jerry Nadler, also a poor-performer but at least a NY Rep, claims it doesn't make it so.
How many lawsuits since Nov '16 has the state of NY, or various AG's within, filed or joined against Trump policies? Where does the lawsuit over his financial records stand? Waiting on the SC, as I recall.

one would assume that his business financials and the tax returns are all performed under audit (that is, CPA's and tax pros all sign off on their validity). Perhaps I'm wrong.
By the way, folks might consider their own homes or investment portfolios. Your home - is it worth today's market value, or the tax value assessed? Which would you report on any tax return (answer - the tax value). Your investment portfolio would be reported for taxes as it's cost basis, not its value today.
But simpletons act like he's filling out a bank loan application the way we'd do a credit card, and simply claiming "I make $100M a year" and the banks don't verify it. Before June 2015, not one bank would have had any reason to collude with him or foreign entities in order to gain influence.
Can someone explain something? If Trump is so innocent, with his perfect phone calls, "I did nothing wrongs," "I'm totally vindicated," etc...
Why is Trump so worried about investigations into him? More specifically, what is going on in New York. Because unlike Trump's lackey AG Barr who does have authority and oversight of what SDNY does, Donald can do NOTHING about state investigations going on in Manhattan.
And because of that, he is literally threatening the State of New York.
I wish republican lawmakers would be alive 50 years from now so they'd be forced to watch history drag their names through the mud for standing by and doing nothing.
He's fired up since the sham Republican impeachment trial with the sense that he can get away with anything and has unlimited power. He will impale himself and go down as the most impeached President in history.

The google machine is your friend. Try using the search terms "Trump fraud property value" and take it from there. This article (link) should get you started.

I agree. This instant retort that comes up when anything negative about Trump hits the news is getting old.
I don't understand how a person can so blindly support someone without even wanting to know what the issue is.
NY Gov. Andrew Cuomo will meet with President Donald Trump on Thursday to discuss the impasse over New Yorkers' access to the Global Entry program for travelers, and indicated New York will give federal officials access to a key database to restore access to the program.
A spokeswoman for Cuomo later clarified, via tweet, that the access would only be to verify applicants to the Trusted Traveler Program -- and presumably not, as some have feared, for immigration enforcement.
The lawsuit filed in federal court in Manhattan charges that the federal government's ouster from so-called “trusted traveler” programs was intended to punish the state for enacting a law that lets unauthorized immigrants get drivers licenses and bars federal immigration agents from accessing state motor vehicle records.
“We will not allow the president of the United States to single out New York, to discriminate against New York, to target New York, and to coerce us, to coerce our state into changing its policies to comply with his preferred federal policies," Attorney General Letitia James, a Democrat, said at a news conference announcing the lawsuit. “Make no mistake, this is an attack, a full attack, a frontal attack on New York’s rights as a sovereign state."
Homeland Security Deputy Secretary Ken Cuccinelli announced last week that New Yorkers would no longer be allowed to enroll or re-enroll in the travel programs.
so NY said "we'll give DL's to illegals AND we won't let you access a key database". And the Federal Government said "fine, then we won't accept new/renewal applications since we can't access the database".
NY doesn't have sovereignty over Customs - and the noted programs are for international travel.
