Of course, it has been reported that Mike Pompeo told Trump that there was nothing corrupt afoot, which is likely why Trump had to send Rudy Giuliani to try to concoct a baseless criminal investigation into Joe Biden rather than rely on evidence that would have been readily available if it actually existed.
Baseless? Are you kidding me? What does it take to get you to admit it wasn't baseless? Joe admitted using the withholding of US funds to Ukraine to get a prosecutor fired, his doper kid got a cushy no show job, Joe's family also got tons of money from China and neither Joe or any of his family got investigated by Barry's justice department.
People like you amaze me. You hate Trump so much you don't even want him to pursue an investigation into a corrupt politician who wants to be our next president, and at that time looked like he could have been.
Democrats have proven they absolutely couldn't care less about our country as long as their team is winning. It is pathetic.

Honestly, that is not some partisan snipe. I am bothered by the fact that he is blatantly and brazenly getting away with subverting the Constitution, and nobody really cares.
There's not actually any allegation that he's subverted the Constitution in any way that his predecessors didn't. It's something the bad guys say because it sounds so serious, but it's just another profoundly stupid lie that they couldn't even begin to try to justify.
The problem is that Trump attempted to make a deal out of it. You investigate Biden for me, and I won't hold up your military aid.
That is a completely false statement.
First, Trump said do "us" a favor, meaning the USA. The words, "for me" were never uttered.
Second, Trump never tied the investigation request to military aid.
Third, Every supposed witness, Ukrainian officials and Trump all said there was no pressure to do anything.
Fourth, the military aid was released and Ukraine did not investigate the biden corruption.
And, as a bonus, Biden is a lying and corrupt politician who got on camera and bragged about he and obama doing exactly what Trump was accused of in order to get the investigation of hunter biden's employer stopped, and not one democrat cared a bit. This proves once again democrats have zero conviction in the garbage they spew non stop. It is all theatrics to deflect from their obvious hatred of the USA and it's Constitution. It is also their way of covering what greedy dishonest people they really are.
