Really? Hardly a day goes by where these preachers aren't in the news screaming about homosexuality and how abominable it is. It's also one of the most divisive issues in our politics today. Everyone knows that conservative Christians hate gays. Fact is that not everyone is required to.
I hope that Pete Buttigeig doesn't win the nomination because I don't believe red state America could handle it. However, can people imagine the outcry if a liberal magazine said that evangelical Christians are worthy of death for being angry, intolerant bigots?

Since your (presumed) homosexuality is of top concern with regards to your identity and safety, be glad you live in the US where if anyone were to, say, toss you off a building, a la an Islamic country, they would get up to life in prison or possibly the death sentence, depending on the state.
