The way the laws are written they circumvent due process...….. This was done by design. If you want to take someone's firearms then charge them with a crime. But then you have to give them their rights, which means representation, and the right to face their accuser, the right to pursue damages for false accusation and a list of other things which are inconvenient to the people that want these laws on the books.

This is America...this is NOT the way to go about addressing the problem...and did you happen to notice, the article stated 'law enforcement' would be the ones who carry out the 'temporary confiscation'!! (need I say more? LOL)

How about "the RIGHT of the PEOPLE to KEEP and BEAR ARMS shall NOT be INFRINGED"?

You really DON'T KNOW?

Look at where these laws come from, mostly DEM controlled states and cities.

The higher courts have been controlled by DEM appointed judges, INCLUDING the Supreme Court until recently. Why do you think the left has run to the 9th Circuit Court so often?

Why bother trying to fight these UNconstitutional laws when you know even if you go all the way to the Supreme Court you will lose?

NOW the tide has turned, and I my OPINION, we will see MORE challenges to these illegal gun laws. Especially when ginsbug is gone, then SC and Trump get another constitutionalist judge on the court.

My God, people like you still don't get it. There will be no "assault weapon" ban. It's symbolic. I almost hope it passes to prove to people LIKE YOU it doesn't bar people from buying them. California already has this stupid "ban".

It's almost like washing the crash test dummies smashing into a wall at high speed over and over.

Page 1 of a California gun chain. "assault weapons" for sale with the ban in place. https://www.turners.com/guns-rifles-semi-auto

Looky there. All the "assault weapons" you could ever want.

Happy now?

Iran and its puppets can lose every battle, but if they finally win one, Israel will be gone. For the rest of time. (Iran's goal).
What does Israel using Airplanes to fire projectiles have to do with Virginians owning guns?

Do you know what happens to the firearm after the confiscation ? Ill tell you....All the firearms are taken .If the victim of this event has say 5 guns. they are sent to a Bonded Wearhouse, where a charge of approximately $ 25 per gun per day is charged ..So that's $125 a day every day until the Victim is released and allowed to retrieve the guns. This may take months. Also the Bonded Wearhouse is usually run by former cops. Nice way to bankrupt a innocent person who has never been guilty of a crime and keep the system of having to prove your innocence in court .

Because that means they are guilty until they can prove they are innocent. That flies in the face of our laws.

Thanks, good point. Any response from our Lefty friends here that don't seem to comprehend the downside of their Master's House gun Bills?
