I know Obama wasn't involved. I'm just saying that Blagojevich did some corrupt stuff and deserve prison, not a pardon. And this is how I see it. In order to root out corruption, corrupt politicians need to have the book thrown at them big time. Trump pardoning Blagojevich just sets a horrible example. But then again, Trump is a poor example of what a President should be.
Maybe the reasons that you and others have stated are the very reasons that Trump did not pardon Blagojevich. Trump did commute his sentence though. He just gets out of prison early.
Watching Trump commute Blagojevich’s sentence is enough to make you feel like the system is beyond help. Which is exactly what Trump wants you to feel.
So wait, isn't letting non-violent offenders out of prison supposed to be good thing? Unless of course Trump is the one who does it, because, you know, OrangeManBad.
Blago was and probably still is a complete assmook, but 8 years was long enough.
Seems like Trump has taken the presidential pardon to a new level. Pardoning mostly white collar criminals and most are the crooked Presidents friends or acquaintances. Wonder if Trump has any acquaintances that aren’t crooked? I doubt it.

Wow - all this about one corrupt politician but you are forgetting that Obama pardon more people than all other presidents combined. 109 of which were facing life sentences on May 17, 2017 - one of which was Oscar Lopez Riviera, who's organization carried out more than 130 bomb attacks in the US.
President Donald Trump granted executive clemency Tuesday to former Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich, as well as to ex-New York Police Commissioner Bernard Kerik and to Edward DeBartolo Jr., the former owner of the San Francisco 49ers football team.
Trump also announced that he had pardoned Michael Milken, the former junk bond king who became a face of the insider trading financial scandals of the 1980s.
...
In all, Trump granted some form of executive clemency to 11 individuals Tuesday, according to the White House.
...
Pardons were given to former CEO Ariel Friedler, who in 2014 admitted conspiring to hack into his competitors’ computer systems; Paul Pogue, who pleaded guilty to underpaying on his taxes over a three-year period; David Safavian, who was convicted of perjury; and Angela Stanton, a Trump-supporting television personality.
Trump also granted commutations to Tynice Nicole Hall and Crystal Munoz, both of whom were given lengthy prison sentences for drug-related offenses, as well as Judith Negron, a minority owner was sentenced to 35 years behind bars for Medicare fraud.
