39,773 per year per CDC, and its over 100 per day.

Sorry if you fund it hard to swallow, but it is what it is.

I guess suicides by guns is just a side issue to be ignored along with all those injured by either direct gun violence or careless accidents. One shooting in Germany and gun laws are useless.

So, should all alcohol consumption be banned also as the amount of deaths were the same?

I have not said anything about banning anything. I am simply stating facts relating to the issue at hand, and for whatever reason you have a hard time accepting it.

"Gun restrictions didn't stop German shooting"

That's because they didn't restrict people who shoot people.

Facts are just that, facts. They are just numbers. So if this were an alcohol related thread, what would be your response of what to do to bring down the amount of American deaths in relation to a fact that is nearly the same?

The sale of alcohol to people under the age of 21 is banned. Why could we at least not do that with guns as well?

Pedro, I'd love to hear you tell me why the homicide rate is less than fifth of what is in the USA.

Any ideas?

Can't. Would have to be 18 as that is the enlistment age for the military and they use guns. 18 sounds like a good number. Next.

Even 18 would be a restriction that currently does not exist.
